Will Americans be Forced to Fight Illegal Aliens?

There’s been a great deal of talk—and even a movie or two—about a civil war between the far right and the far left. Or perhaps between the big cities and the rural areas. Maybe it will be people on the coasts versus “flyover” country. Opinions vary.

Because we’re expressing opinions, mine is it seems more likely a war will be Americans versus illegal immigrants. And if Aurora, Colo., is any indication, they may have already started it.

In Europe, where most of the citizens don’t have easy access to firearms, all the legal citizens can do is protest the recent immigrants. They stop traffic, set a few tires on fire and hold a work stoppage for a few days. That doesn’t hurt the immigrants; it just tells the government people are pissed off and lets them know who to arrest.

Here, we can go beyond protests. Citizens can exercise their Second Amendment right to self defense and shoot back when someone tries to take over their home or threatens their family. We may see that in the not too distant future, especially if Kamala is elected president and the leftists remain in power.

When we first hear about citizens fighting back against illegal alien gangs from Venezuela, it will be reported in the media as a “gang war,” American gangs versus gangs that originated in South and Central America. It will be a battle for territory and power, just like any other gang war, but it will also be a battle for our way of life.

Pretty sad when we have to count on violent gangs to help fight foreign invaders. But if the government will not get involved, what can you do?

A Militia

When the police can’t protect you, you need to protect yourself. And when there are lots of people who feel the need to protect themselves, their homes, and their neighborhood, some of them will team up to form a group and fight back. (It’s that or allow the invaders to subjugate you, something I hope few Americans will put up with.)

Any group formed to prevent illegal aliens from terrorizing our citizens will need to be far more robust than a community watch that prevents break-ins; it will need to be an armed militia. The militia won’t be there to call the police; they will be here to shoot people who are kidnapping young women, demanding ransom for children they grab on their way home from school, and raping and murdering. When the SHTF, the militias will be formed to return fire and to drive off or kill gang members from other countries who have come here to spread their violent way of life and think they can take over our communities.

We are not weak peasants. We are not unarmed. When properly motivated, we will fight back. The seeds of that motivation are being planted now. For example:

  • Venezuelans gang members taking over apartment buildings and running elaborate crime rings in Colorado.
  • Haitian “refugees” who have taken over Springfield, Ohio, eating ducks they catch in city parks and pets from your backyard.
  • Illegal Immigrants in cities like New York being given thousands of dollars while people who were born in the city and struggle to make ends meet get nothing from the government.

Americans will only take so much before they react.

Get your AR15s While you Still Can

Anyone familiar with the footage from the “gang takeover” of an Aurora apartment building knows that at least one of the gang members was carrying an AR15 style weapon. This just goes to show that despite background checks and other gun laws, criminals can still obtain guns. It’s the well-meaning, honest citizens who have to deal with gun laws, waiting periods, and purchase limits.

My advice is to buy your own AR style weapon while you still can. And if you can’t read between the lines, then let me be clear: buy it before the election. Just in case.

Can’t afford a new gun? Buy just the lower receiver or, better yet, what is known as a complete lower. If you buy a complete lower now, you can buy a complete upper at some point down the road. Click the two together and have a complete gun. Your upper will have to come with a bolt carrier group, or you will need to buy it separately.

Over Labor Day Weekend, I saw complete lowers on sale on Palmetto State Armory for $99. When not on sale, you often find them for $150 to $180.

The lower receiver is the only part of an AR that has a serial number and requires you to buy it through an FFL dealer. You can stockpile a few of these and build them into full guns when you have the time and money. This will also allow you to select the barrel length and caliber of your AR at a future date.

Cheap Guns versus Expensive Guns

If you can afford a top-of-the-line gun, the buy all means get one. Heck, buy several. But if your wallet is pinched because of inflation, then buy a $500 or $600 AR15. Will it be as good as the pricey one? Probably not, but it should work fine for the first 5,000 rounds. If you shoot that much, then you can go out and get a better gun after you send 5,000 rounds downrange, but I’d be surprised if most people put 1,000 rounds through their AR.

The same goes for pistols. I can shoot better with a 1911 than a Glock because of the 1911’s superior trigger pull, but I carry a Glock. Why? Because the Glock is less expensive, virtually indestructible, lighter, and I can still shoot it pretty darn well. It gets the job done, and I am not one to let perfect be the enemy of good enough.

When the SHTF, it’s more important to have a functional, practical gun than to be waiting to get that special gun you have your heart set on.

Ammo and Accessories

The AR15 will be an excellent personal weapon if we get to where there is war in our city streets. It is light, easy to use, and effective at urban ranges. In fact, with the appropriate battle sight zero, you don’t have to adjust your point of aim until your target is beyond 250 yards, and that won’t happen often in a crowded urban environment.

My advice is to buy at least one lower (or a full gun) for everyone in your family and an additional one as a spare. If you buy the lower, then build out one gun with a standard 16-inch barrel and use it to train. Once you have two or more trained shooters in your family or team, complete building (or assembling) the next gun.

Among the many things you will need are magazines, ammunition, ammo pouches, a sling, and possibly an optic and flashlight. You can accumulate these over time once you have the lower receivers. I also stock spare parts for repairs. You can accumulate these over times. I recommend paying cash and visiting several stores when buying your guns and related parts and accessories.

I also recommend a minimum of 12 magazines per gun, with 24 or more preferable. Magazines get lost or damaged, so the more the merrier. 1,000 rounds of ammo in reserve should be a good start, with more for practicing. Heck, if you can afford it, get 5,000 rounds, or 10,000. If you don’t need it, a fellow militia member might.

Civil War?

You may have heard Joe Biden say that we would need fighter aircraft or atomic bombs to win a civil war. How well did that work out in Afghanistan? They will still need boots on the ground. Plus, any president who uses weapons like that against their own country will find it just generates more freedom fighters.

The Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights so we could deal with tyrants. That doesn’t preclude dealing with illegal immigrant gangs. Even if only three percent participate, there are more of us than them.
