A Monster Hurricane Season Is Coming

Hurricane Laura was a category 4 storm when it slammed into the Gulf Coast with winds of 150 MPH.

Thanks to something called the “loop current”, this hurricane season may look a lot like 2005.  That’s the year Katrina hit.  There were 27 named storms in 2005, seven of which became major hurricanes.
