“Fire will be met with Fire” Israel said after more than 800 Rockets were fired on the country. In response, Israel has killed multiple senior members of Ali Ghali in targeted assassinations and the IDF Air Force has attacked targets belonging to Islamic Jihad. Israel us expected to continue to make strikes until the rocket attacks cease.
We had to read about this in The Jerusalem Post. It’s not getting much attention in the U.S. media.
While it is not unusual for tensions on the Gaza Strip to flare up, the danger is that an escalation could drag in other countries, widening the conflict.
