In my recent article about diesel being our Achilles heel, I said “There is no substitute for diesel fuel.” The article I am linking to as part of our Prepper news Update takes that to a further extent, explaining that there is no substitute for fossil fuel. Solar and wind energy may make a fraction of our electricity, but they cannot power machines. They cannot even power themselves because building and installing a windmill requires machines that “swallow diesel by the gallon.”
This article has convinced me that our green politicians are either idiots who have no clue about the energy industry or idiots who want to see our society destroyed. Either way, the future isn’t bright.
