Just three days ago, I wrote about a time when Walmarts and grocery stores will be protected by armed guards and shoppers won’t even be allowed into the store. Seems like that is already the case in a North Philadelphia neighborhood where a gas station owner has hired Kevlar-clad armed guards toting AR-15s and shotguns.
“We are tired of this nonsense; robbery, drug trafficking, hanging around, gangs,” the owner said. Since hiring the guards, the business has been crime free.
If it is unsafe to get gas, a process that takes five minutes, imagine recharging your electric vehicle, a process that can take at least half an hour. Talk about being a victim in waiting.
And people wonder why I carry.
