Is the Iran War Resuming?

Things seem to be heating up in the Hormuz Strait, likely leading to a renewed outbreak of war with Iran versus the U.S., Israel, and possibly the UAE and maybe a few other Gulf countries. This could happen as soon as Tuesday morning. I think things will smolder a few more days until the U.S. can claim it was “forced” to act, at which point it will so so with overwhelming force.

The preparedness channels on YouTube are filled with either predictions of immediate doom or fears that a renewal of the war will cause a slow economic collapse driven by higher gas prices, a shortage of fertilizers, and supply chain disruptions that lead to inflation. To me, that is backwards; a renewal of the offensive is more likely to speed reopening of the Strait, a critical lifeline for oil and fertilizers. The status quo is more of an economic danger.

If you were prepped before the ceasefire went into effect, you should be prepped now. And if you aren’t, well, that window to prepare may be slowly sliding shut.

I’m going to have to make a T-shirt that says “Keep calm and prep on,” because that’s my recommendation.
