The latest mysterious illness affecting the Chinese seems to be getting worse, with parents and children reportedly camping outside hospitals because beds are filled, emergency rooms are packed, and some pediatric hospital report getting 10,000 new patients per day.
Makes you wonder if they will re-open the COVID camps.
I had a meeting canceled yesterday because one attendee was ill. He caught something his son brought home from, you guessed it, school. Now this could be a cold or flu, it could even be COVID, but I doubt it’s the new pneumonia. But if people start getting sick in droves, I’m going to cut back on my social engagements.
