It looks like Russia isn’t going to take the recent gains made by Ukraine lying down. Putin doubled down with his threat to use “all available means to protect Russia and our people,” and reminded the West that the threat to use nuclear weapons “is not a bluff.” He also mobilized 300,000 reservists.
Is it just me, or does saying “This is not a bluff” sound a little desperate? Right up there with a used car salesman saying “Trust me.”
In any case, this shows the war will continue for the foreseeable future and increases the odds that it will one day morph into WWIII.
