Texas Power Grid Threatened by High Temps

The power grid can be threatened by a host of problems

Extreme heat in Texas is expected to send electricity demand to record highs by the end of the week, according to the Electrical Reliability Council of Texas. They’ll have to hope it is both sunny and windy to the intermittent generation provided by windmills and solar panels are producing sufficient electricity to prevent brownouts and other power interruptions.
