Threats to the electrical grid and to the internet, which I have covered on multiple occasions, now threaten to shut down AI as well as retail, banking, communications, and all your home utilities. You may think, so what? But many large companies rely on AI for everything from customer service and order processing to scheduling and far more advanced applications.

Maybe it won’t matter because everything else is also shut down, but the threat to AI is another example of how mission critical our power grid and the Internet have become. These are vulnerable to an array of attacks, but this article focuses on a solar flare and an EMP attack. Both should be familiar to any serious prepper because they could result in a serious long-term national emergency.
