More than 17 million chickens have died or been euthanized due to the growing outbreak of Bird Flu across the Midwest and Eastern states, sending the price of a dozen eggs up to $2.88. The disease is hitting near Easter, which is always a time of high egg demand, which has caused the price of eggs.
