Looks to me like someone wants to scare us again, and they are trying to pump up COVID-19 as a way to do so. Maybe it’s to give governor’s a way to keep Trump from hosting campaign events
But for most of us, it really isn’t that scary any more. Fewer and fewer people are dying. A lower percentage of people are being hospitalized. Many young people don’t even have symptoms.
But that doesn’t stop the lockdowns. The lockdowns, limitations, restrictions, mask requirements and other coronavirus mandates are expected to last until next spring or summer, with some prediction 2022. This is hurting small businesses, and Yelp says that 60 percent of those that temporarily shut down due to the Coronavirus are now permanently closed. It is looking more and more like Democratic governors and mayors have weaponized COVID-19 to shut down their cities and hurt the economy in an attempt to undermine President Trump and reduce his chances of re-election. Globally, there are 29.94 million known cases, meaning we will surpass 30 million by day’s end. There have been 942,259 deaths reported.
