Some time in the early 1990s, I was offered a job in Orange Country, Calif. They would have paid to relocate me all the way across the country. The prepper in me turned it down, and I have never regretted my decision. This is another of those weeks when I am reassured I made the right call.
In addition to the political mess California has made of itself, Mother Nature seems to have it our for our friends on the Left Coast. After a series of heavy rains and floods killed seven and left 500,000 without power, they can expect… more heavy rain and floods as the bomb cyclone combines with the atmospheric river, again.
This next storm is looking even worse than the last. We just have to hope that some of that rain and snow makes its way far enough East to help refill the Colorado River and its reservoirs.
