This is a video from the Alaskan Prepper comparing prices on 46 items at his local Costco today versus a year ago. The total shopping bill today is 19 percent higher than a year ago. Has your take-home pay increased by that much? If not, then you can only afford to buy 80 percent of what you bought a year ago.
